


Nvidia states Support timeframes for Unix legacy GPU releases, "The Linux 340.* legacy driver series is the last to support the G8x, G9x, and GT2xx GPUs, and motherboard chipsets based on them. The open-source nouveau driver is your only option. Is this just an issue with a new release of Mint, and perhaps a dedicated graphics driver for my card is not yet available? Is this just something I need to re-check periodically?Your Nvidia graphics card is no longer supported. Right now, that doesn't seem to be the case. However on this one, I am suing an NVIDIA graphics card, and I would expect a driver to be recommended to install. Wed 5:26 pmFor my other systems, that is fine.
